About NAEGE
For decades, NAEGE has been the professional home for engineering geologists, environmental scientists, students, educators, and practitioners across Nigeria.
Who We Are
Nigerian Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment
NAEGE is a subsidiary of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), established to serve as a platform for Engineering Geologists and to standardise the qualifications of practicing persons in the profession across Nigeria.
Engineering Geology is the science that deals with subsurface investigation, evaluation of engineering and environmental problems which may arise due to interaction between geology and activities of man. It also helps predict and develop measures to prevent or mitigate geological hazards on earth.
